This page explains what Baking Bliss does with the information you give us when you order. It is written to reflect Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000.
What we collect
- Name, delivery address, PIN code, phone number and email address — needed to deliver an order and to contact you about it.
- Order contents and order history.
- Payment confirmation. For UPI we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded; we do not receive or store your UPI PIN, card numbers or bank credentials.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the site.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies for the cart and checkout to work. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Who we share it with
We share only with the service providers needed to operate the store, deliver orders, process payments and provide hosting, or where required by law. Courier partners receive your name, address and phone number because a parcel cannot be delivered without them. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as reasonably necessary to handle returns, refunds and enquiries, and for as long as required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete data that we are not required to keep. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent. Write to [email protected] from the email address used on the order.
Grievance contact for privacy complaints
Privacy complaints go to [email protected], or by post to Baking Bliss, Sarovar Darshan Towers, B-3, Panch Pakhdi, Thane, Maharashtra 400602, India. They are handled directly by the person responsible for operating Baking Bliss. We have not appointed a separate named officer.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. No online system is completely secure, so we ask that you do not send payment credentials by email — we will never ask for them.
