Seventy-one pieces: a turntable, twelve icing tips, a stack of disposable bags, couplers and scrapers. Twelve tips is a deliberate number — enough range for borders, rosettes and leaves without the drawer of specialist shapes most people never open. Seventy-one pieces also strikes a reasonable balance for a first kit: enough to work with immediately, not so much that half the box stays sealed. The turntable is the part that will still be in use in five years.

Care & Use
Wash the tips and scrapers by hand and dry at once. The disposable bags are single-use. Wipe the turntable after every cake and keep the bearing free of buttercream, which is what stiffens the rotation over time.
