A kit built around the tools that actually finish a cake: a turntable to spin it, spatulas to spread, and scrapers to bring the sides flat. Piping tools are included, but the emphasis here is on getting a smooth base coat rather than on decoration. Most kits lead with the number of piping tips, which is the least important part for a beginner. Getting the base coat flat is what separates a cake that looks finished from one that does not, and these are the tools for it.
Specifications
- Turntable: revolving cake stand
- Includes: icing spatulas, scrapers, piping tools
- Use: icing, smoothing and finishing cakes
Care & Use
Hand wash the steel parts and dry them immediately. Warm the spatula and scraper in hot water, dry, then make the final pass over buttercream. Wipe the turntable rim after use so icing does not reach the bearing.
