A washable pastry bag at 16 inch — long enough to hold a full batch of buttercream without refilling every few flowers — supplied with a set of tips. The cotton outer gives a firmer grip than plastic once your hands warm up. The seam runs flat rather than proud, so the bag does not leave a ridge in the icing when you grip it hard at the end of a long border. It is the sort of detail that only shows up on the twentieth cupcake.
Specifications
- Bag: 16 inch, cotton exterior with a coated lining
- Tips: assorted decorating shapes
- Reusable: washable and refillable
- Use: cakes, cupcakes and cookies
Care & Use
Wash in warm soapy water immediately; buttercream left overnight sets into the seam and is difficult to shift. Air dry hanging point-down. If the lining ever starts to lift at the seam, retire the bag rather than patching it — the lining is what keeps grease out of the cotton.
