Heavy-Duty Cake Turntable 12 Inch with Non-Slip Base

A heavier build of the standard 12-inch turntable, with a non-slip base that stays put on a smooth worktop. Weight is the useful quality here: a light stand shifts when you press a scraper against the cake, and the finish shifts with it. The extra mass also damps the wobble you get when a heavy fruit cake is slightly off centre on the plate. If you regularly work on cakes above two tiers, the heavier stand is worth the difference.

Care & Use
