Twelve support rods with four dividers, each divider matched to a common tier size from 6 to 12 inch. The divider marks where the rods should sit, so the supports land in a proper ring rather than being pushed in by eye and clustered to one side. Four divider sizes also cover the tiers most cakes actually use, and the dividers themselves are worth keeping even after the rods are used up. Even spacing is what stops one side of a tier carrying all the load.

Care & Use
Set the divider on the chilled tier, mark the positions, then push the rods in. Cut them level with the icing surface. Wash and dry after use; keep the dividers flat so they do not bow, since a bowed divider gives uneven spacing.
