Clear bags at 24 inch, thickened for bulk work. Being able to see the icing through the bag sounds minor until you are working two colours and need to check where the join sits before you start piping. A hundred bags is roughly a season of weekend baking for most households, or a fortnight for anyone taking orders. Store the unopened stack flat and out of direct sunlight, since film left on a warm windowsill goes brittle at the fold well before it is used.
